VOLUNTEER Call to Action!
In order to put on a great race, we need your help! Our race requires 50+ volunteers to put in a few hours to ensure that we run a safe, organized and fun event! If you can spare a few hours on Saturday, we could really appreciate a hand. Please email David Gearhart or Jeff Blau.

On August 15th, 2015, racers from around the southeast will compete in East Atlanta Village for bragging rights and possibly a State Championship jersey! The 4th annual EAV Twilight Criterium has been selected as the venue for the Georgia State Criterium Championships! We’re also excited to debut the newly extended race course.
Registration is OPEN! Don’t forget to rent a timing chip if you don’t already own one. Remember, if you rent a timing chip, you must leave some kind of collateral. This can be in the form a driver’s license, credit card # or your new, fancy race bike. You probably need the fancy race bike, so bring something else!
Community Race @ 7:35 PM – If you would like a taste of criterium racing, bring a bicycle and a helmet to registration by 7:15 PM and prepare yourself for the exhilaration of racing on city streets to the noise of your cheering neighbors! You’ll race around the race course for 2 laps to win some prizes and neighborhood bragging rights!
Race-Day Registration and Bib Number Pickup – If you happen to wait until Saturday to register, the registration tent will open for business at 11:00 AM. If you pre-registered, you can pick up your bib number as well.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about one-day licenses. By rule, one day licenses are allowed for those participants who are Cat 4 Women or Cat 5 Men. All others will have to show proof of a valid annual license in order to compete in the EAV Twilight.
Applicable Rules for Championship Events – Chapters 3 and 7 of the USAC rulebook apply to the races on Saturday. For convenience, you can find them here. 2015_USAC_Rulebook_Chapter_3 and 2015_USAC_Rulebook_Chapter_7
